In projects like Nachhaltigkeitswoche or Enviroswiss I help creating awarness for environmental issues &#8211; and try to make a change.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.6471;\">I study environmental sciences at ETH Zurich. What is it, Environment? Environment <\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.6471;\">can mean anything. I decided to focus on<\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.6471;\"> the relationship between humans and their natural environment.\u00a0 It is the interface between people and nature. Having a background in environmental sciences, I have a technical approach to problems. This helped me to develop a system-oriented way of thinking and to understand nature as a interconnected entity. However, we cannot save the world with science alone: we need to change humans, too.\u00a0 &#8220;Why do we do, what we do?&#8221; and &#8220;How can we, as a society move towards living more sustainably?&#8221; are questions which I am interested in.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Change happens outside the classroom.
