Hypothesis

Scientific Method though my MET journey.

In a scientific investigation, a hypothesis is made to predict the outcome or answer to a purpose or problem. A hypothesis is formed based upon existing and previous knowledge applied in context.

I began the MET journey looking to expand on my technology skills both inside the classroom, in my school and throughout the district. As the world is evolving in this fast paced technological world, teachers must keep up with the high demands of this change and a focus on lifelong learning is paramount.   I chose ETEC 511, The Foundations of Educational Technology to solidify my initial views and beliefs, forming an initial philosophy to guide me in my MET investigation. This initial philosophy would serve as my hypothesis, integrating previous understanding to direct further study.  My Personal Learning Theory from ETEC 512 also provided me with guidance through my MET journey.
