Salina Dharamsi received her Bachelor of Commerce degree, in accounting and e-commerce, from the University of British Columbia in April of 2013. A month later, she commenced the Master of Professional Accounting Program at the Edwards School of Business in Saskatchewan.
Professionally, Salina recently completed her first year at KPMG; some of the highlights have been completing rotations with the firm’s Enterprise tax and industrial markets audit groups and traveling to Johannesburg, South Africa to complete a one month rotation in corporate finance as the Canadian firm’s first global intern.
In her spare time Salina has traveled to Guatemala, Rwanda, Switzerland, New York, UK, Japan and most recently India where she worked on a partnership project between Free the Children and KPMG. These fine places introduced her to new people and ways of life and ignited her passions for international development, diplomacy and corporate social responsibility.
Salina has received the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal, British Columbia Community Achievement Award, National Millennium Scholarship and was featured on the front page of the Province for her passion for changing the world.
We’d love to get in contact with you to see if you would be interested in sharing your story.
