As part of an assignment, we were tasked with researching and compiling a list of ten best practices for utilizing LinkedIn as a professional networking platform. Unfortunately, the assignment did not go as planned as I failed to read the instructions carefully, resulting in a minor but significant error. Specifically, I did not use imperative verbs and failed to adopt the “you” attitude. However, this assignment served as a turning point for me. I learned to be more cautious while reading instructions and to take the time to reflect before completing the task. Additionally, I realized that allowing enough time to complete assignments is crucial to avoid rushing work.
