For this assignment, students were tasked to peer review a group member’s definition. My partner’s definition of the term “blowback.” Through this process, I gained valuable insights. Firstly, I learned about the term “blowback” from the definition that my partner provided, which is a reflection of their ability to complete the assignment well. Secondly, I learned how to follow and apply the peer review instructions effectively. During the review, I identified strengths in my partner’s work, such as their strong attention to spelling and grammar, which I can incorporate into my work in the future. Additionally, this experience helped me develop the skills necessary to provide constructive criticism respectfully and professionally.
