When creating the Web Folio, I focused on highlighting technical and writing skills that would support a career in computer science. Apart from using previous ENGL 301 assignments, additional web content such as the self-assessment reflection and descriptions of best works were written for the intended audience of potential employers.

When designing the web pages, I learned the importance of an effective web design and writing style for improving readability. Some design choices include using wider margins, abundant white spaces and clear headings. Revisions were also made to ensure a consistent use of font style and size. Apart from making design choices, I focused on writing with a style that is more suited for websites, using short paragraphs and clear and concise sentences.

Challenged by the task of choosing an appropriate theme, I chose the Twenty Eleven template supported by Word Press. Drawn towards its simple design, clean layout, and blue accents, the theme is suitable for presenting content in a clear and professional manner.
