Here at Your Choice Fitness, we offer a variety of training programs to accompany your preference of activities to fit your lifestyle. We have the facility and trainers to fit the needs of every individual who walks in our door. From athletes who have sport specific goals to everyday people wanting to get in shape or keep fit, we have the studio and/or trainer for you. Your Choice Fitness offers individualized programs, classes and group training to offer a variety of challenging fitness training methods to remain active!

Depending on your desired training practice, be it a specialized program or working in facility, we will provide you a thorough and informative assessment of your baseline fitness to best fit your fitness progression and goals.

Physical Assessments include:

  • Heart Rate (HR) max: To prescribe exercise intensities appropriate to each individuals capabilities and goals.
  • Heart Rate (HR) rest: To track medical conditions and to gain the greatest efficiency during training for a desired outcome. 
  • Heart Rate Reserve (HRR): Predictive measure used to prescribe safe and effective exercise intensities.
  • Blood pressure (BP): BP will increase and decrease depending on the exercise, which is crucial to monitor throughout an exercise regime. If blood pressure exceeds 120mm Hg/80mm Hg, the heart is required to work harder and is a major risk factor for other diseases.
  • VO2max: Allows a trainer to determine aerobic capabilities of an individual, referring to maximal oxygen consumption, which directly relates to the progression of aerobic endurance.
