Likewise, company would analyze other companies in the same field. So, I am going to compare my internship company, Quilts etc., with Evezary which is from Korea company.

Quilts etc. is a BC-based manufacturer/retailer of fine bed linens and down products. With 59 store locations Canada wide, they offer duvets, duvet covers, sheet sets, coverlets, handmade patchwork quilts, baby’s duvet and all the other items. They specialize in white goose down duvets, but also offer several alternatives, such as patchwork quilts.

Quilts etc. has 59 locations across Canada. And they have their own wareshouse in company together. That’s why they can provied free shipping service. (Internet orders over $129 on Canadian orders: exc. YT, NT, NU, NL)

   2. Social media marketing

They do social media marketing actively. It can be made friendly relationship with customers. They post information with promotion, new arrival product on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, WordPress, Blogger.com, and so on. 

   3. Email service

If anyone sign up to their newsletter and receive a $5.00 OFF coupon and exclusive promotions. It can be helped to gather more customers.

 

• Evezary

Evezary was established in 1976. It is a Korea-based company of bedding products. They have launched 500 stores including Korea and China. Also there are 2 agencies in California, USA. One of the management philosophies is concerning environment, so they run green management now; well-bing.

 

“STRENGTHS OF TH EVEZARY”

   1. Events

To attract more customers, they do lots of events for customers. It is also included potential customers, so evezary might access to them easily.

   2. Websites

They have Korean, English, and Chinese website. It means they are focusing on not only in Korea, but also in abroad. They will not miss future foreign customers or agencies.

 

When I was searching information between two companies, I could find their similarities. Of course, they both produce same kind of products. And they do social media marketing to access to customers easily. Quilts etc. has social media much more than Evezary, actually. Also, both companies provide online payment system. If customer wants to buy their product right now, customer can pay for it immediately.

On the other hand, Quilts etc.’s website needs to change something new comparing with Evezary’s website. So I think Quilts etc. had better to look at Evezary’s website to arrange it better. In case of Evezary, they need to improve marketing method. Quilts etc. has been doing social media marketing for having regular customers. These days, most people use social media and if company makes use it, it can be helped the company totally.
