Who are “we” responsible for and based on what?

Do some people matter more than others?  Does someone’s life “value” more than someone else’s? If yes, then based on what?  Why do some people get more attention than the others? Have they earned it in some way? Hello readers, With the beginning of 2016 and half way through the CAP’s Global Citizen stream, and half way through my first year in Canada, I now feel that I’ve formed a better understanding and a clearer perspective on Canadian politics.
