I made it to my CFE – wow that 10-week practicum was a grind so I am really looking forward to some rest and relaxation for the next 3 weeks…… WAIT! This place is beautiful and there is so much to learn! We arrived Sunday evening after a long trip including a very bumpy 2-hour logging road drive. No flat tires so I am happy about that.
We had a bit of a tour and saw some fellow UBC teacher candidates visiting with their school.
Bamfield has many different field and lab courses/workshops so I will be busy observing and trying to learn several of them so I can hopefully lead a few in the last week I am here. We have also been given some “homework” to help the staff connect their programs to the new BC curriculum.
Today is about exploring and meeting staff – the rest of the week I am joining a school and following them on their BMSC journey.
