It has taken many weeks – 8 to be exact, but I think my students actually like me. I can tell because they are joking with me and they are allowing me to joke with them. They are asking me things that are not related to the course specifically… life questions. This makes me feel pretty good like I have broken through some barrier – the hazing is done and I have been accepted into the troop. I think that fact that I am not completely unorganized helps too – I am finding that groove and at least look like I have my s?&* together.  I can do this!
