Ben Tre is definitely not a must see. One of the main attractions of the town is its production of coconut candy, but we couldn’t find it anywhere! Our hotel was quite shabby and there wasn’t very much to do so all in all it was a bit of a no-go. However, the bus trip was an adventure, there were no other tourists (which we enjoyed), and we had delicious pho in a local street cafe.
