Please join us on\u00a0<strong>Thursday, May 2 from 2:30 to 4:00\u00a0<\/strong>in the Centre for Interactive Research on Sustainability (CIRS), BC Hydro Theatre for\u00a0<strong>Biodiversity Connects Us: A Student-Led Research\u00a0Showcase<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year\u2019s Student-Led Research&nbsp;Showcase&nbsp;is all&nbsp;<strong>about making connections<\/strong>. Join us to learn about a variety of biodiversity projects on the UBC-Vancouver Campus. Presentations will&nbsp;<strong>explore nature-based solutions to adapt and mitigate to extreme weather<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>deepen our&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>understanding of natural assets<\/strong>&nbsp;across our campus, and<strong>&nbsp;identify strategies to enhance the foundational connections that sustain urban campus biodiversity<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Snacks and refreshments will be provided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\u00a0Showcase\u00a0is part of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/botanicalgarden.ubc.ca\/news-events\/events-activities\/biodiversity-days-2024\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Biodiversity Days<\/strong><\/a>(organized by the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/botanicalgarden.ubc.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">UBC Botanical Garden<\/a>\u00a0with support from\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/sustain.ubc.ca\/programs\/seeds-sustainability-program\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SEEDS Sustainability Program<\/a>).\u00a0<strong>You are also welcome to explore and attend any of the other exciting events that are part of Biodiversity Days.<\/strong>\u00a0More will be added soon!
