In 2024, the theme is \u201cBe Part of the Plan\u201d, where everyone has a role to play to advance&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbd.int\/gbf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Biodiversity Plan<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This annual event aims to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Raise awareness of biodiversity and its importance to human and ecological health<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Mobilize local and global action to stop the loss of biodiversity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Build a generation of stewards, scientists and citizens that actively protect and restore biodiversity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This year&#8217;s program includes a series of online and in-person events.
