About Me

Hello! My name is Seolhui Jeong and I’m from Korea.

I love traveling all over the world, and  I  enjoy learning different cultures and having new experiences as well. I am an outgoing person, and I love meeting new people and getting to know each other.

I also adapt to new environments very quickly. Right now, I live with my host family from Philippine, and I really enjoy having conversations with the family and trying philippine traditional food for every meal!

It has been only the third day since I got to Canada. I still have so many places to visit. I’m looking forward to having more fun in Canada!

Recently, I have attended Global Academics Internship Program at University of British Columbia in Vancouver. I am supposed to take practical courses for two months for the intership for another two months from November to December in 2012.

Also, I got into Inha University in March 2009 in Korea. I am majoring in English Education, so I have always tried to work at school or private institutes as a teacher in order to prepare for myself to become a good teacher.

Last winter, in February 2012, I went to the University of Hawaii to take an  intensive course in spoken English and the class,  American Culture. I also took the school of Pacific and Asian studies. It was my first time to go to a country where people use English as an official language, so I really enjoyed exposing myself to the new language environment.
