On 8th of November, 2012, we had a assembly for Rememberance Day. We invited a veteran to our school, John Henderson Annex, and he played saxophone. During the assembly, every class gave a short presentation and sang a song about the meaning of peace. Also, parents were coming to join it. All of us were wearing poppies, and we had a valuable time to appreciate the sacrifice of all the soldiers in wars.

On 30th of October, 2012, I had my first Halloween in Canada. All the students and teachers had to wear Halloween costume for the parade in the school gym. After the parade, all of the teachers and students got pictures taken to publish on our school web site. Also, we all made snacks for trick  or treat and shared the snacks together.
