About The Project
Jun 7th, 2011 by Daniel Olson
This Community Service Learning (CSL) project involves high school students from the Shad Valley educational program. The Shad Valley participants will participate in a five-hour work party in the Pacific Spirit National Park, and will conduct both a pre- and post-activity reflection on their work, the park, and the impact on the community. The organizational team is made up of four MECH 410E students, for whom this is a curricular requirement. This team is responsible for conducting the work party and reflection periods in a safe and constructive manner and will seek feedback and comments from stakeholders throughout summer’s preparation period.
