MECH 410E Project Group Members:
Mercedes Duifuis mercedesduifuis(at)gmail.com
Drawing from her previous experience as both a facilitator and having worked with Shad Valley UBC students before, Mercedes will be taking the lead on developing and conducting the workshop portion of the project. Workshop topics and format still have to be discussed with Daan Maijer, the main stakeholder for the Shad Valley students. Mercedes will also be in charge of leading the post-activity reflection, though all team members will participate to a largely equal extent.
Tagg Jefferson taggjefferson(at)gmail.com
Having organized large groups as a volunteer and employer, as well as being very interested to be as ‘hands-on’ with the project as possible, Tagg will lead the planning and execution of the park activity. Details regarding the specific nature of the park activity are still being discussed with stakeholder Shelagh Dodd, Pacific Spirit Park Society’s volunteer coordinator.
Eric Kung ehlk512(at)gmail.com
Eric is partially in charge of running this activity the pre-activity reflection with the Shad Valley students, though all team members will participate to a largely equal extent.
Daniel Olson daniel.m.m.olson(at)gmail.com
Daniel, currently the Engineering Undergraduate Society President, has participated in and led many internal reflection workshops for various student groups; his excellent skill set in this regard will be used to organize the team’s own reflection period. Also, due to vast experience with blogging, social networking and web design, Daniel will manage the WordPress blog and provide documentation in the form of photographs and potentially a short video showcasing highlights of the project.
