Here you can see my passion for teaching and for coaching. I enjoy working with young Canadians and I am passionate about improving the financial literacy of my students through mathematics, business education, and information communication technology classes. It is important for our young Canadians to have an understanding of how money works, debt, assets, liabilities, taxes, investments so that when they leave their secondary education they will be prepared for work, continued education, and anything else that they may experience. I am able to apply my real world experience from university, to part time work, to being an equity analyst on Bay St in Toronto to ensure that my classes are relevant, engaging, and even entertaining for my students. My enthusiasm and energy are often contagious and lead me to naturally get to know about my students interests and implement them into my classroom. Learning has to be relevant and meaningful in order to be engaging, and this is what I bring into my classroom. My experiences as an athlete at many levels brings great perspective to my coaching and to my physical education classes allowing me to relate to those students who just want to be more active and those who are trying to go on to play at the university and professional level. There is a place for everyone in my classroom as long as they are willing to put in the work to grow and learn. This learning does not stop in the classroom as I enjoy working with my students outside of the classroom to ensure that they are achieving their full potential.
