Task 1 -What’s in your bag?<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Teagan L.’s task:<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/sites.google.com\/learn.sd23.bc.ca\/laverocketec565\/etec-540?authuser=0#h.94ixgpud3o6k<\/p>\n<p><em>I connected with Teagan\u2019s representation of What\u2019s in your bag? as I found we had quite a few similarities. Both of us appreciate and still use the paper and pen method as well as understand the importance of technologies and how much it supports us and our learners in learning tasks. From the Venn diagram you can see that although we have some different must-haves in our bag, we also have some interesting connections. Ying’s clever take on how to approach mental health in the future (can you imagine!) not only takes a more serious tone because of the topic but does make you consider in what ways we may access mental health resources in the future and how will AI help support this. My infographic concentrated more on the movement towards technology in education and where we will be in 25 years, something else that peaks my curiosity. <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>The second narratives are both stories in their roots (poetry from Ying and a video story from myself). Both using words to create a picture for the reader. Ying tackles another serious topic of climate change while I take a more humorous approach with robots taking over our schools and the jobs of our teachers (not such a humorous topic however).\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>All of these narratives speak to the audience in very different ways but also showcases the variety in which we can communicate information.
