In the Quran’s embrace, a jewel we find,
Surah Yasin, a treasure for humankind,
A chapter of light, a balm for the soul,
Its verses like rivers that eternally roll.
In the heart of the Quran, it finds its place,
A divine message of mercy and grace,
Proclaiming God’s oneness, His power, His might,
Guiding us from darkness to the radiant light.
A tale of a town, its people unaware,
Of the messengers sent with messages to bear,
Their rejection of truth, their hearts veiled in pride,
The consequences of arrogance, they could not hide.
But Surah Yasin offers solace and relief,
A soothing reminder, to our sorrows, a reprieve,
In times of despair, it brings us back to prayer,
With its verses, our burdens become easier to bear.
A call to reflection, to ponder and to see,
The signs all around us, in the sky, earth, and sea,
Life’s transient nature, its cycles and its phases,
A reminder of God’s eternal, unchanging graces.
“Peace!” is the greeting, the angels declare,
As they welcome believers, as they enter with care,
In gardens of bliss, a reward for the just,
In Surah Yasin’s verses, we place our trust.
So, let us recite it, let its meanings sink deep,
In Surah Yasin’s wisdom, our faith we will keep,
A source of tranquility, in times of distress,
Surah Yasin, the heart’s elixir, a gift we confess.
