The Azaan’s Call: A Spiritual Reverie

In the quiet dawn, before the sun’s first ray,
The Azaan’s call begins another day.
A voice that echoes through the tranquil air,
Awakening souls with a whispered prayer.

From minaret heights, it gracefully flows,
A melody of faith that steadily grows.
Each sacred word, a note of deep devotion,
Guiding hearts toward a heavenly ocean.

With whispered verses, it gently implores,
To heed the call that earnestly implores.
“Come to success, come to divine grace,”
The Azaan beckons in its hallowed space.

A bridge to the heavens, it strives to build,
In every heart, its resonance instilled.
A call to gather, to kneel and to pray,
To seek forgiveness at the break of day.

The Azaan’s power, a spiritual guide,
In its melodic waves, we’re purified.
It stirs the soul, igniting the divine,
A sacred connection, in each heartfelt line.

Through every syllable, its message clear,
A call to worship, to persevere.
In the Azaan’s call, we find our way,
To walk in faith, come what may.

So when you hear that melodic sound,
In humble reverence, let your heart be found.
For in the Azaan’s call, a gift divine,
A spiritual journey, in every line.

Taming the Beast Within: True Freedom Unleashed

In me, I sense a slowing, a graceful sway,
Detachment from the worldly, day by day.
Linked to my thoughts, this newfound tranquil pace,
In quiet moments, they find their sacred space.

Thoughts, once unruly, now align in line,
No longer racing, but in rhythm, fine.
Directed, chosen, where I want them to be,
A tranquil mind, a clearer self, I see.

Yet, sensitivity lingers, still alive,
To others’ energies, as thoughts arrive.
In crowds or solitude, from near and far,
I feel their presence, like a distant star.

I don’t evade the role I must uphold,
For thoughts have stories that need to be told.
The essence of energy, profound and vast,
Reveals its nature, the dye it may cast.

With Brother Ihsan’s wisdom as my guide,
I learn to cleanse my heart when ill at side,
Witnessing life’s moments, wrong or right,
With prayers to heal, I cleanse the heart’s sight.

In positive shifts, my thoughts begin to sway,
As daily dhikr guides me on my way.
In quiet spaces, where no thoughts take space,
Desire for connection finds its proper place.

I pray for Allah’s grace, a heart that’s true,
To shield from ego’s grasp, old habits few.
As a parent, the journey’s path unfolds,
With solitude I yearn, as life’s story unfolds.

Yet, detachment grows, from daily cares I soar,
I observe with wisdom, emotions at the core.
A test of patience, rain-soaked and weary,
My response transformed, no longer dreary.

No longer ruled by ego’s cunning tricks,
Awareness blooms, the heart no longer picks,
Past pains to weave a tale of discontent,
But stays rooted in the present, calm and content.

The ego strives to taint the purest view,
With old emotions and illusions, it construes.
But in awareness, its power wanes, you see,
As I tame the beast within, I’m truly free.

“In Sacred Space, My Diary Dear, I Share”

In sacred space, my diary dear, I share,
Profound realizations, a journey rare,
In tapas’ flame, intentions finely spun,
Observing thoughts, a voyage just begun.

Day one revealed, a challenge met,
Negativity’s cloak, a truth to set,
Unveiled, a world of darkened strife,
I saw the patterns that ruled my life.

Day two, with newfound clarity of mind,
Negativity’s grip, I sought to unbind,
Awareness grew, a light to guide,
Transforming darkness, I felt inside.

Day three arrived, a moment’s grace,
A crystal-clear vision, in its embrace,
A fear arose, deep within my core,
For humanity’s path, a truth to explore.

A fear not of devils, nor God’s disdain,
But a world in turmoil, our souls in pain,
A desire to shield my children’s way,
From the chaos that clouds our present day.

Responsibilities unveiled anew,
Beyond mere sustenance, a lesson true,
To instill in them a conscious light,
To guide them through the darkest night.

Interconnected we are, one tapestry,
No “I,” just “we,” in unity,
To evolve and transcend, we must see,
Our shared responsibility to set us free.

Vulnerable I became, in ether’s dance,
An inner journey, a subtle trance,
Still, much work remains for me to do,
To journey toward “knowing,” to become “true.”

A glimpse of love, divine and pure,
A vision of hope that will endure,
Spreading light through words of grace,
Uplifting hearts in this sacred space.

Quiet, peaceful love fills my soul,
No need to change the world, my goal,
Like a parent watching their child’s quest,
I have faith in humanity’s very best.

With love and light, I shall persist,
In this journey of souls, we coexist,
A quiet, peaceful love, my guide,
Assures me that everything will be fine.
