I grew up in Tsawwassen, B.C. and currently live in South Surrey, B.C. with my husband and three children. In August of 2015 I will receive a BEd from UBC and begin my teaching career!
As an educator I am focused on educating the heart, inspiring the mind and empowering a generation of independent and confident learners. If you would like to learn more about my teaching philosophy please visit the philosophy page.
My intention with this blog is to collaborate with other teaching professionals that share the prioritization of a student’s heart and then mind.
My children inspired me to become a teacher and continue to inform my teaching philosophy and practice. Below is a video of my family preparing for school. This video is intended to exemplify how I begin each day and entrust my children to their school and teacher. I understand the trust that a parent places in the hands of a teacher and I take this responsibility for my students very seriously.

3. What particular topics you’d like to cover that you think could have the biggest impact on Educators that can be covered in a 1-hour discussion.
4. A 15-minute time block where we can discuss the interview
5. A 1-hour time block to record the session.
6. A resume (for professional development funding)
