One of my biggest concerns as a teacher candidate who will soon be entering the school system is how to teach specific parts of curriculum to my students, particularly Shakespeare literature. Due to the language and syntax in Shakespeare, it becomes complex for both teachers to teach Shakespeare to students, and for students to comprehend Shakespeare literature. For this reason, this blog will share descriptions of my background research on Shakespeare literature and will showcase different resources consisting of a variety of modalities that can aid students as they read Shakespeare literature. The blog can also be used for teachers who are searching for new ways to spark students’ interest in Shakespeare, and to also expand their own knowledge pertaining to modalities that can be used to teach Shakespeare literature.Â
