  1. What a great level of detail! I thought your ideas about MedAlert were spot on. I was really sad to think of a world without libraries though. While I do think we might eventually move back to the time when households had only a few books as a showpiece, I hope libraries and the variety of programs they offer stick around.

    • Thanks for the comment. The MedAlert idea can came from the Bellwether podcast. One of the interviewees was talking about how an algorithm would be able to feedback into the AI and account for most people’s treatment plans and that it would also decrease malpractice suits as med professionals can point back to the program that directed their work. That’s also a little scary as I think there’s no replacement for human intuition. I also love books, though I have less time these days for leisure reading. I think libraries will be around for many more decades.
