Bio

Shuge Luo

A BCS student with a first bachelors degree of Chinese Language and Literature.

I have a broad scope of interest – ranging from philosophy, all literature piece of work – even in different languages, and teaching Chinese. My academic interest is in Feminism and Canadian Literature. My undergraduate essay was about Alice Munro. But, unfortunately, it was written in Chinese. Feminism is another field of study I am interested in because it is involved in politics, history and sociology – and it is a sterling opportunity to take a deep look into the role it takes in our society and life.

However, as of this moment, my priority is to find work in the tech industry. Science is slightly different from what I had learned; it is more like collecting coins, which makes me feel content. Web application development is the field of study I currently work in. Hopefully I can expand my skillset in this field and achieve a position of software development engineer in the near future.
