The E-Portfolio is created for the final journey of my great experience in the MET programme. I have thoroughly enjoyed it and left the best course for last. The course has enabled me to garner more skills and provided different insights and yet once gain placed me into a reflective mode.
It has indeed been a challenge for me working through MET and trying to do the balancing act. As a wife, mother of two, daughter, sister, aunt, lecturer and I could go on, I have learnt well. I now can add to my title that I am a “balancer”.
The MET programme has helped to enhance my career as a Lecturer of Educational and Technology Courses. My first love in education is however the use of technology to enhance the teaching and learning experience. It is therefore my aim after MET to utilize the tools, content, concepts, ideas, experiences, all that I have learnt at MET, in my practice. I continue to strive to be an exemplar for students in my care so that they can be effective teachers.
“Good teaching may overcome a poor choice of technology, but technology will never save bad teaching.” – Tony Bates
