There are multiple implications for this vision. For some teachers, blogs and wikis will be a technological extension of their current teaching practices. For other teachers, it will mean a new pedagogical approach. Changing pedagogy will be challenging and teachers may be resistant to integrating blogs, wikis and UDL into their classrooms for the following reasons.
Key to overcoming these barriers will be ongoing dialogue and professional development highlighting best practices and ensuring appropriate formative and summative assessment procedures.
