The Urban Ethnographic Field School

The Urban Ethnographic Field School is a six-week, six-credit, intensive field school that is co-taught by faculty in Sociology and Anthropology. Students spend 12 hours a week in the classroom learning ethnographic methods, and 8-10 hours a week at a community based organization working. This writing intensive course teaches advanced methods while helping students gain professional experience. Applications open on January 15th and close on March 1st.
