My name is Kanchi Dave and I am wrapping up my undergrad at the University of British Columbia. I am majoring in Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences with a minor in Environmental Sciences. My interest in studying the relationship between life and the environment guides my projects.

I enjoy hiking and know that can cause damage to trails. This project was my take on trying to identify areas on trails sensitive to soil erosion so that preventive measures can be taken to avoid an adverse effect on the environment.
