Hike one of the trails and confirm if the areas sensitive to soil erosion marked by the map indeed are so.
Apply method elsewhere
If the data does check out, it would be interesting to apply this to other parks in BC. Especially if the data has high resolution LIDAR and Soil Maps.
Apply preventive Measures on Soil Erosion Sensitive Areas
- Can use Arc GIS cost path to reroute trails to no cross soil sensitive areas
- Can apply over-walks in sensitive areas and steps on high incline slopes.
