Areas of focus this week:
- Classroom management strategies, in reviewing classroom expectations.
- Body positioning.
- Assessment / Formative –and marking Summative assessments
What I felt good about:
- Modifying lesson plan on the spot and adapting into the student’s needs.
- Sports Education model; students demonstrated accountability and responsibility during the basketball tournament.
- Reviewing classroom expectations and reminding the students of their goals and objectives.
- GPAI assessment; introducing it to the class and receiving feedback about it.
- Student leadership; allowing students to demo different drills and activities.
What I want to work to improve:
- When blow whistle, scan and look and wait for everyone to have their complete attention and then bring them in.
- Assessment, in terms of breaking different lesson to observe different students.
