Areas of focus this week:
- Classroom management strategies: By blowing the whistle and emphasizing “Stop, Scan, listen = then bring students in.
- Growth and development, based on previous feedback.
What I felt good about:
- Planning and organization, based on my unit goals and objectives. In addition, to pacing and consistency and the different activities of the lesson plan.
- Working with individuals that demonstrates different strengths throughout the classroom.
- Student leadership and increasing student autonomy into having more drills that other students may have.
- Participating in loop running and emphasizing the importance of cardio and conditioning. This includes, encouraging students while their running and making the concept of growth and development important.
What I want to work to improve:
- Consistency within classroom management, and use of wait time, for direct instructions.
- Eye scanning for safety considerations.
