a). Understanding the significance of how self-esteem is extremely important to the confidence of how children need in order to engage and succeed in educational pursuits, (Ferkany, 2008, p.4).
b). Supports the idea that self-esteem can be embedded in the goals and objectives of the curriculum without hindering important educational aims, (Ferkany, 2009, p.4).
c). The role of physical educators and the inculcating a lifelong desire for physical activity engagement by eliminating shame and humiliation and maximise positive attitudes such as fostering self-esteem.
Argues the importance of how instructors worry about the main objectives of the curriculum. However, the main concept of the article is to emphasize the importance of self-esteem and the correlation of student autonomy and engagement.This article focuses on the importance of self-esteem and correlation between confidence and motivation in children in order to be engage academically in physical education. This ties into my inquiry proposal because it concentrates on creating strategies that enhances motivation and self-esteem. In addition, this article targets motivation and self-esteem in the field of physical education. That is the reason why I choose this article to back up my research and the inquiry proposal.

a). The article demonstrates how after a yearlong study PE teachers found, that the implications of the word “ability” refers to the understanding the purpose of PE and rather than the outcome of the action.
The purpose of this article is to focus on the importance of understanding ability of a student in the field of physical education. In addition, this article concentrates on the role of physical educators and the objectives of focusing on the outcome of the performance rather than the growth and development of the student. This article focuses on the importance of self-esteem and correlation between confidence and motivation in children in order to be engage academically in physical education. Major Findings:
a). The results of this study indicated that motivational orientations suggested a positive effect on the influences on self-esteem and links between intrinsic motivation and the correlations with global self-esteem.
b). The research also gave important information of how physical activity interventions that allow individuals a sense of autonomy enhanced young people with a general self-esteem.
The purpose of this article is to explain the theoretical model of global self-esteem and the correlation of achievement goal and self-determination theories. The article also correlates that self-determined or autonomous motives that would allow individuals to achieve goal orientation on global self-esteem. In addition, this research would be useful to determine the link between student engagement and the self-esteem through student autonomy. Overall the research study emphasizes the importance of intrinsic motivation and the correlations that has between a bigger global self-esteem. In theory this information would allow my inquiry design in finding strategies that focuses on intrinsic motivation. Lastly, this research helps my inquiry design with evidence based research on having student autonomy to increase student’s motivation and the correlation with increasing student self-esteem.

This journal article was chosen to indicate the importance of assessment and the correlations between skill acquisition and the differences between growth and developing. Most significantly this journal article proves the importance of assessment and links between motivation and how it affects students self-esteem. This journal article focuses on classroom management and the effects that it has on assessment on learning. The focus on this journal article is express the importance of assessment and how powerful it is for enhancing learning. Lastly, it focuses on the importance of allow student to think about their own learning.

Major findings:
Some major findings on this research study indicated that positive feedback correlates with a major increase in student’s motivation in terms of self-determination. Also, vice versa, how negative feedback affects teaching instruction and students’ self-esteem.
The purpose of this study is test the effects of different teaching behaviours on students’ self-determined motivation in physical education. The research study also studies the components of psychological needs such as competence autonomy, and relatedness. This article was chosen because it illustrates important links of intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation. In addition, this research study focuses on the effects of different teaching strategies and the correlation between teaching behaviours on students self-determined in physical education. Lastly, this research article allows for extensive research questions such as the type of positive and negative feedback that affects student’s motivation in terms of assessment of different types of summative assessment.

Major Findings:
One of the most significant findings in this research was the significant difference that student responsibility contribute into the classroom climate. The research demonstrated that the idea of making students tourist to citizens of the classroom allow for a better understanding in what students want and their motivation within the classroom.
This research contributes to my links to practice in the importance of given students responsibility to make sure that their voice counts and more significantly to allow student autonomy in their quality of learning. This article was chosen because it gave me good evidence based research of the importance of cooperation, caring, and organization. In addition, the research contributes towards the correlation between student engagement/ participation which correlates with motivation and self-esteem. In summary, this article will allow me to incorporate ideas into the developing of different student responsibility towards the learning outcomes of the students.
