“Everyone is my teacher. Some I seek. Some I subconsciously attract. Often I learn simply by observing others. Some may be completely unaware that I’m learning from them, yet I bow deeply in gratitude.”  – Eric Allen

Since the day we were born we have been learning. Learning to read, learning to write, learning to love, learning to fight. We learn from our teachers, we learn from our friends, we learn from people we will never meet again. We learn from the highs, we learn from the lows, we learn from our hearts and all the places it goes. We learn from each other, we learn from ourselves, we learn from the books that sit on our shelves. We learn from the best, we learn from the worst, we learn from happy, the sad and the cursed. We learn and we learn, may it never stop, and if we think we are finished, we can start from the top.

Teaching and learning are such wonderous things! They couldn’t possibly be contained within the walls of a school. This is not a slight on education as we know it, but rather a realization of the difference we can make through every facet of our lives! When we discover the boundlessness of learning, we uncover that of teaching.
