“To give real service you must add something which cannot be bought or measured with money, and that is sincerity and integrity.” –Douglas Adams
Business ethics… How important it is to make a 100000$ deal? Probably vital! Same comes to maintaining good environment in-between work team.
To tell the truth, business ethics is very similar to social ethics and applies not only to the world at large, but also to its dealings with customer. It comes out to this:”Do no harm, treat people with respect, benefit other people and play fair.”
It means the concepts can be summed up as delete values of honesty, integrity and fairness. No one will argue that the old true saying “Treat others like you want to be treated” is as important as ever.
Everyone knows that behaving ethically is right, but some workers simply ignore it. Why? Because they not know how it will influence them beneficially.
From my point of view, being respectful to each other directly results in better motivation and recruitment in employees.. Thus, creating friendlier atmosphere. Being calm and grounded at work keep employers in developing better relation with customers. So, making company more profitable overall .
Judging from the example above, it could be projected to company-company relations. When a company models that kind of behavior inside and out, when it walks the walk, then it establishes a solid foundation of trust
All in all, recognizing the significance of business ethics is a tool for achieving desired outcome.
