Vancouver based artist, dance instructor and producer will visit our Spanish 301 students to talk showcase examples on African music and dance elements as key components of today\u2019s Cuban popular dances. We will learn about its historical and ethnic roots, and its social implications on Cuban identity.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>When<\/strong>: Friday, February 11th, from 10 to 10:50<\/p>\n<p><strong>Where<\/strong>: Buchanan B #309<\/p>\n<p><strong>Language<\/strong>: Spanish<\/p>\n<p><strong>Please note<\/strong>: This is an in person talk, spaces are very limited and third year Spanish students have priority.
