As I observe this graph I am able to notice there is a high community of song choices and only a few nodes which lead to an edge. With only three songs having fewer than 2 community attachments. It is of note that these more isolated choices do not have a general lacking, so to say that they do not all lack human voices, instruments or a set rhythm. Through this, we are unable to help guide a more robust understanding of what made users select, or deselect certain songs.
I believe there is merit to the idea that the nodes and edges, thus song selection, follow a similar pattern as the general characteristics of the responses are the same. Most of us are in the first half of our life and are now more accustomed to certain styles of music. It seems as well if songs were chosen in batches, or themes. Unfortunately, as this is purely a quantitative data-driven graph we are unable to further understand the patterns or decisions made by the users. Each node was chosen with a purpose, and this purpose or significance as Systems Innovation (2015) notes is of justification and value, both of which are dismissed as you observe this data.
Speaking in personal experience, when crafting my list, I focussed on finding pieces that best fit my criterion, then broadening the criteria to fulfill the list. As such, I was automatically creating null responses, as I was searching for what matched my predetermined criteria. We cannot draw further conclusions about null choices, and in observing the alternative sections’ data, they had a different culmination of communities. As such it leaves me thinking if this form of data was the best representation of the information. Perhaps a graph which ranked the songs on alternative criteria or choices, or a sequence form that provided meaningful axis labels.
The data provided is an interesting representation of nodes, communities, and edges as they interlink, and how specific topics can become hubs of information, with litter traffic the further outwards you go. Akin to a city. The heart and community is within, with those travelling in from the outside for connection.

Hey Simin!
I appreciated your analysis on the data. I too noted that this was a purely quantitative representation of our choices. You mentioned that you focused on pieces that best fit the criterion you created. What was that criterion like? I ask as I really struggled to find a way to narrow down my selections as I wasn’t sure which criterion to use. I ended up analyzing the songs for different keys and tones but am curious as to how you made your selections?
