Resume

About ME

I completed my undergraduate degree in Honours History with a second teachable in Chemistry from the University of New Brunswick in 2009.  I also concurrently completed my Bachelor of Education. Following graduation, I taught for two years in London, England before returning to Ontario as an occasional and home instruction teacher.

Upon the decision to change my career path to focus on instructional design, I began to take courses to upgrade my skills.  I took several technology courses including Adobe Captivate, Adobe Flash, and HTML, before completing an Adult Education Certificate from Cambrian College (2014), and a Masters in Educational Technology from the University of British Columbia (2015).

Since my Masters, I have been working at Fanshawe College in two capacities, Instructional Support Technologist and Non Full Time Faculty member.  As an Instructional Support Technologist, I support faculty within the two departments of my purview as they interact with learning technologies, providing both technical and instructional support.  I have grown this role to include instructional design tasks and an increasing voice in departmental policy and direction.  As a faculty member, I create and teach General Education Electives to our student population.

I am looking forward to new challenges, academically, professionally, and personally.
