Anyone else having issues accessing articles from the CiteULike folders? So far I’ve found one of the articles of interest from Folder 2 and all four of the articles of interest I tried to open from Folder 3 returning various errors, from saying access is forbidden to the page isn’t found to bringing me to the organizations homepage with no record of the article in question. So far every article of interest I’ve clicked on from Folder 7, regardless of the Full Text link option I choose, is bringing me to a periodical service provider and suggesting I purchase the article to view more than the abstract and a couple pages.
Chris, is this the expectation for these resources or is there a trick to accessing this data that I just don’t know?
buggy for me too… I don’t have a solution other than to take the citation and look it up over in the library…
So I didn’t even see this before I posted the same question 🙂
For those who somehow don’t see the announcement, Christopher helped out here!
“Some of the articles from CiteULIke are available via the UBC library while others are not.
CiteULike is driven by current and previous students. If a student found the article via the UBC library, then the article should be available. However, if the article was found from a different source then you may not have full access to that article. Here is a short video of what I mean https://app.hyfy.io/v/abnxnDujgGn/“
