Visiting Ace Personnel Domestic Inc.

On 26 Oct 2012 afternoon, our team members went to the Ace Personnel Domestic Inc. office to find out more background information and the company’s needs on improving the internet marketing. The owner of the company, Rebecca is a passionate person who is always open for new ideas to help with the business and also focus heavily with the mutual interest of the nannies/caretakers she employed and her customers. Upon taking up the business from her late mother, Rebecca not only tried hard on reconstruct the financial status of the company, she further promote the business heavily by driving to different hospitals and social workers to build rapport with them and gain their support on promoting the business. Understanding the importance of internet marketing, Rebecca seek website builders to set up the company website and Facebook promotion page, however the  effect bring from this promtional tool is minimal. She figured out there should be some elements missing which hinders the successfulness of this marketing tool and a modification is needed. (That’s why our team were there to help!)

We are pretty sure that it is important to build a online database to let the nannies apply for jobs and also let the clients search for the nannies with experience/talents they want, but several problems come up to mind: 1. Nannies are “picky” at times, they reserve their rights to disclose their CVs to potential customers. So how can ACE protect the rights of the nannies, and at the same time not to offend/provoke the customers? 2. If the nannies have their post online, and ACE serve as a platform for them to seek job, how to prevent/reduce the chance of having dishonest nannies to seal the deal privately with the customers?
