Google Analytics – Dashboard tool helping me to understand impact/successfulness of blogs

Google Analytics is one of KPI tool measuring the web page traffics and also can serve as a indicator to clients to see whether the implementation of internet marketing strategies is successful or not. (Comparison of web traffic of pre-implementation and post-implementation)

Before presenting how this measurement works for our client, I set up a Google Analytics for my blog to check how it works.

And a Tracking ID is given

Now I am ready to choose the metrics to measure the KPI.

For my dashboard, there are several things I would like to measure to help me understand why people would find and visit my blog.

KPI metrics

New Visits grouped by Country/Territory (Reason: To help me understand people from which country are interested in looking in my blog, and how searchable is my site in other countries)

VIsit Duration grouped by Visitor Type (Reason: To know usually how long does a visitor surf in my blog)

Number of Bounce Rate compared to All Entrances (Reason: To know how many people jumped into my page accidently)

Number of Visits with Search compared to Organic Searches (Reason: To understand how likely internet surfers found my blog through the organic search and also visit my blog after seach)

There seemed to be some more room of improvements to be made before I can arouse other’s interest to visit my blog, and what I can do to push it foward is to post more interesting learnings about internet marketing.
