Honestly, I found it challenging to answer the questions in this task.  So, I began by simply listing my observations:  The entire class:  I observed that none of the songs received unanimous agreement from all students. Both “Melancholy Blues” and “Johnny B. Goode” had the most connections, totaling 16 each. Narrowing down the 27 tracks on the Golden Record to 10 was challenging yet enjoyable. Since I wasn’t familiar with much of the music, I didn’t have strong emotional ties to any particular piece. As such, my decisions were primarily based on criteria other than personal preference. My goal was to create a collection that represented music from around the world and include a wide variety of genres.
