Inquiry is a vital component in achieving success in any avenue in life, but is particularly valuable for teachers. In the coming weeks I will be investigating the use of Power Point and other technologies, namely iPads, in a secondary school in North Vancouver. I am very passionate about technology and aim to develop my lessons in such a way that takes advantage of the many technological tools we have at our disposal. I am particularly intrigued with investigating Power Point use in the classroom and focusing on new techniques to deliver engaging presentations. The goal of this investigation is to ascertain if any of these methods can help foster student engagement, while also enhancing education. I cannot wait to start this project, and look forward to the many challenges I expect to encounter over the coming weeks!
