Welcome to The Knowledge Exchange: A Partnership-in-Action Podcast! Founded and hosted by Dr. Barbara Lee, a Knowledge Exchange and Mobilization (KxM) Scholar (2023-2025) in the University of British Columbia (UBC), School of Social Work, this podcast highlights inspiring community-engaged partnerships. Each episode will feature a discussion between faculty and their community partners about their projects together and the impact emerging from their knowledge exchange and mobilization practices.

The Knowledge Exchange and Mobilization Scholars
Launched in 2023 by the UBC Office of the Vice-President, Research and Innovation’s Knowledge Exchange Unit, the KxM Scholars program aims to enhance the capacity of the various faculties and schools at UBC to foster the science and practice of knowledge exchange and mobilization and apply research for societal benefit.
In the School of Social Work, Dr. Lee is launching The Knowledge Exchange: A Partnership-in-Action Podcast to provide social work scholars and community partners a platform to showcase their work together, and to recognize and amplify community engagement as an integral role in social work research and practice.
We thank the UBC Office of the Vice-President, Research and Innovation for their support on this initiative through the KxM Scholars program.
We acknowledge that the UBC Vancouver campus is located on the traditional, ancestral, and occupied territory of the hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓-speaking Musqueam peoples.
