About the School of Social Work
The Social Work program at the University of British Columbia (UBC) is the oldest social work education program in British Columbia. Since its establishment in 1929, the School of Social Work continues to train future social workers as well as generate informative and impactful research relevant to social work theories and practice. Committed to the values of human dignity, social justice, social equity and justice in all activities, the School of Social Work aims to advance social work in scholarship and practice.
We acknowledge that the UBC Vancouver campus is located on the traditional, ancestral, and occupied territory of the hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓-speaking Musqueam peoples.
