(here are the <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/syntaxofinteraction\/files\/2017\/05\/basque-day-5.compressed.pdf\">slides<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ve covered a lot of ground, and there is even more to cover.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ll mainly be looking at response markers (like\u00a0<em>yes\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0<em>no<\/em>). And I will show you that<\/p>\n<p>i) they can be used in different ways (not just as answers to yes\/no questions)<\/p>\n<p>ii) they can be modified in ways that indicate that language indicates with the system of emotions<\/p>\n<p>And I&#8217;ll talk a bit about how to write a paper (here is a <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/syntaxofinteraction\/files\/2017\/05\/How-to-write-a-paper.pdf\">checklist<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is our last lecture.
