There is a lot of corruption in the pharmaceutical industry, some companies have been caught hiding the negative trials of their drugs, and others have been caught bribing physicians to prescribe more drugs to their patients.
Recently a prescription drug company in the U.S has confessed to revealing false claims about the safety of its merchandises. The company, with misleading information, promoted one of its drugs as being safer than any other anti-psychotic drug. Adding all these minor pharmaceutical incidents together, shows a vivid understanding of a corrupted industry that is willing to do almost anything in order to produce more profits. In the business world, generating profits is one of the key elements for success; but compromising the health and well being of the public in order to make more profit is just ethically wrong. As a result of their actions, the FDA (Food & Drug Administration) has demanded the company to avoid interacting in any misleading activity.
