My practicum is in a grade 2-3 combined class at Grandview Elementary in Vancouver, BC.<br \/>\n<strong>WORK HISTORY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>FEBRUARY 2003-CURRENT<br \/>\nShift Supervisor | Starbucks Coffee Canada | Vancouver, BC<br \/>\nMy duties include the general running of the shift, including providing<br \/>\ncoaching and feedback where necessary, cash and inventory management, and overseeing<br \/>\nemployee training. Working in customer service has allowed me to hone my interpersonal<br \/>\nskills and my collaborative spirit.<\/p>\n<p>DECEMBER 2014-JUNE 2015<br \/>\nVolunteer Class Helper | Norma Rose Point Elementary | Vancouver, BC<br \/>\nAs a volunteer in a Kindergarten at a Community school, I was able to experience the daily<br \/>\nhappenings of two classes at once. I helped with class and classroom management,<br \/>\nsupervised play, and helped students complete their school work as needed.<\/p>\n<p>NOVEMBER 2003-JUNE 2006<br \/>\nYouth Program Coordinator | St. Stephen&#8217;s United Church | Vancouver, BC<br \/>\nAs well as teaching Sunday School to various grades, I coordinated and ran two Friday night<br \/>\nyouth group gatherings, one for grades 7-9 and the other for grades 10-12.
