Chemicals are often rubbed onto a patch of the animal&#8217;s shaved skin, dripped into their eyes, or fed to them.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How are\u00a0cosmetics defined?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Government of Canada defines cosmetics &#8220;any substance used to clean, improve or change the complexion, skin, hair, nails or teeth.
